Our History
Oceanside Construction, originally established as Oceanside Construction Company of Texas in 2015, has evolved into a multifaceted entity dedicated to empowering individuals in the construction industry. In July 2023, the visionary owners, Meea Moore and Mr. Anthony, founded the Oceanside Construction and Training Center to bridge the gap between education and entrepreneurship.

Their mission is to foster a new generation of construction professionals and entrepreneurs, contributing to the growth of the McKinney community.

At Oceanside Construction & Training Center, our vision is to provide comprehensive training for those seeking careers in the construction field. We go beyond conventional education, aiming to cultivate entrepreneurs within the industry. Our unique approach involves offering each student the opportunity to acquire a Business License from the City of McKinney, Texas upon completion of their training.

We provide resources such as access to the Collin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in North Texas, ensuring ongoing support for those venturing into entrepreneurship. Drywall and Painting
We pride ourselves on offering specialized training in drywall and painting, essential skills in the construction industry. Our curriculum covers multiple levels of drywall and texturing, with a focus on teaching the advanced Level 5 smooth drywall technique — a unique offering that sets our training center apart.
Expert Instructors
Our team of instructors includes a seasoned drywall and painting expert with over 40 years of experience in the Union construction sector. Drawing from this wealth of experience, our instructors instill the highest work ethics and skills in our students.

OCTC Admissions
Admission Requirements
1. Age Requirement:
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of enrollment.
2. Citizenship and Identification:
- Applicants must provide a valid government-issued identification card.
- Social Security Number (SSN) card is required for identification and record-keeping purposes.
3.Educational Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is not mandatory for admission.
